Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga practice cultivates presence by connecting movement with breath. Intelligent sequencing makes these classes fun and dynamic. Most classes feature several elements of traditional yoga—including sun salutations, standing poses, twists, backbends, seated poses, dynamic stretching, and pranayama (breathing exercise). This moving meditation practice will build strength and aid balance while reducing stress and increasing vitality.

Gentle Hatha

Gentle Hatha yoga combines postures coordinated with the breath, performed at a slower pace, allowing time to be present in each pose. This class provides the opportunity to explore your practice, to find the play between strength and flexibility, stability and ease, and to gain a greater understanding of physical alignment and balance. Gentle Hatha yoga is for all levels of experience and flexibility.

Yin/Yang

Yin/Yang blends two styles of yoga into one practice - bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. This class might start dynamically (Yang) and end with longer-held poses to relax and calm the nervous system. The sequencing of the class can have a powerful effect on your energy levels and how you feel after class.

Slow Flow for Strength

Slow Flow for Strength is a slower pace class, mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer. This class allows time to explore the postures while cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and calm. It is especially geared towards all practitioners who are looking to build muscle strength and focuses on a different area -- core, back body, arms, legs -- in each class. You will explore your edge, yet still feel relaxed and renewed when class is done.

Hatha

A Hatha class is a balanced, physical approach to strengthening and aligning the body in a safe and stable manner. The poses in each practice, called asanas, ideally embody the qualities of both steadiness and ease. A Hatha practice can also offer an exploration of different breathing techniques, and each class always ends with savasana, to leave you feeling centered and grounded!

Sunrise Yoga Series

The Sunrise Yoga Series is an ongoing monthly series. You can commit to the whole Series of eight (or nine) classes each month or drop-in for a single classes. Sunrise Yoga is a great way to ensure that you have time for your yoga practice. Just roll out of bed, throw on your leggings (or just sleep in them!), and before your do anything else, log into Zoom and get on your mat. If this sounds like something that will help you establish a regular practice, this Sunrise Yoga Series is for you.
